    Default leaking rocker cover gaskets

    hey has any one replaced the rocker cover gaskets on a 5.7 cos mine are leaking thing of doing it myself just wanting to know if there is any thing to watch out for any info would be great thanks

    yeah done mine not long ago not to hard mate nothing really to worry bout just take your time

    Does the same go for the V6 as my daughters one has developed a leak and I am thinking about giving it a go.

    it would be the same if not it would be easy to do it only took me half an hour to do the whole job. only left side that was replacing all rubbers with the bolts asell one u start u really will she how easy it really is.

    The V6 is a lot easier because on the Gen3 you need to remove the coils to get to the rocker covers.

    yep thats rite but its not hard to remove the coils as its only 5 bolts just watch when doing them back up not to do it to tight cos u can thred the cover
