Dear JC
I currently have a vx commodore equipe 2001 with no spoiler, with just the smooth boot. I was thinking of picking up a S or SS spoiler of ebay and fitting it. Was just wondering it would cost to get a spoiler sanded and resprayed to the colour of my car.
And how would i go about getting the spoiler fitted and the break light connected? cause there are no holes for the spoiler to go into. which means they will have to drill
What are your opinions? Would it look better with or without the spoiler? Or with a different spoiler?
Heres a photo of the boot.

id put a vx s-pack spoiler on it 100%. to sand the spoiler i think its best to do it yourself, its not a hard job, and for the spray 100-150 is a reasonable price.
no looks stunning as it is m8 no spoiler, just my opinion
I think the VT looks good with a small spoiler

It has such a huge backside and the spoiler helps square it of a little

id be puttin an EOI on jc, askin if someone wants to swap your boot for a boot thats aleady spoilered. lots of people prefer the no spoler look so you shouldnt have any trouble.
im a fan of spolerless cars, thats why i spent a heap gettin my holes welded up and resprayed. but in vt/vx i dont mind spoilers. coz the rears on them are pretty round and it looks kinda unfinished without one in a lot of cases where as in the vy i think they look tacked on like an after thought. just my opinion.
Nooooo spoiler XD my opinion to but yeah sand it yourself if you want to get it and shop around for painting prices try and find somewhere that has a good rep and not some dum ass bastard who says he'll do it for 60bucks
Can some one help me with measurements on how to best fit a s spoiler to the back of my vt.
not to spoiler, looks sleeker w/out one, just my opinion though.

I think no spoiler looks better on a vx. I've got an s pack spoiler on my VT and the only reason it's there is because the dealer put it on, I'd prefer it gone, but have to admit, it looks better than rubber grommets or sticky tape.
Mate, do whatever floats your boat and don't care what other people say, if you want a spoiler, get one, if not don't.
