VT Air Con problem

Hi all...
Had my VT aircon regassed in December... has been working great!
Now the controls to the positioning of air flows are not working, and the air only flows to below the windscreen.
There is a hissing sound coming from the main air flow fans on the dash near the controls, which does not stop until i turn off the car.
The 1,2,3, Hi button is working, but again no air comes out only at the windscreen and it is cool. Still just a hissing sound.
Any ideas please?

Hi

Had the same issue last month.
All i needed to do was pull the air positioning dial/switch off.
When i did this air pressure was released (could hear it) and all good know :-)
Apparently they run on a vacuum system.

Thanks Mick.. your a lifesaver!
I did exactly that and it worked straight away.... you just saved me some money... one place wanted to take the whole dash off.... I dont think so!
