VT key remote inop...

my remote doesnt unlock my vt however it starts fine and no warning lights come on...would the battery be flat but still have enough charge to transfer codes and start the engine but be to flat to unlock doors and boot...

actually now that i think about it i had my windscreen replaced the day it stopped working...would they have disrupted something by replacing the window?

The remote sensor is in the centre of the dash right next to the windscreen, so it sounds like something was disturbed during the windscreen replacement.

Anyone know how to remove the IR from a VR? Sorry to jump in. Same Problem with the VR and would replacing it help? Car starts fine and remote disarms the car.
