Default To Slip or Not To Slip...That is the question

Hey guys, i recently posted about some problems ive had with my trans since having it serviced. Its still not shifting automatically into 2nd when the the shifter is in 1st but now i am having some more trouble. Between 2nd and 3rd and 3rd and 4th sometimes theres delay before it hits the next gear, its like the car is going into neutral the revs pick up to nearly 4000rpm and then it hits gear. It doesnt do it every shift or when under heavy accerleration which seems weird. Ive taken it to my local holden shop and they hooked it up to a computer but it wasnt coming up with any codes or logging any slips when shifting. The guy said if it keeps doing it to bring it back and take him for a drive and show him what it does. Has anyone else experianced similar problems???

Hi Spartan119, I had the same issue not long ago and did alots of thing to find out what it was even replacing the tranny Try unpluging the TPS and take it for a drive it should only change gears at 3500 and see if it still slips? My issue ended uo being the ECU on the car was not send enough voltage to the TPS. So i just changed the ECU and the car was like brand new

hi, bit off topic but i had a lpg system installed on my vx and there was a computer fault which ended up overheating my cars ECU, and since then my trans has been sliping sometimes aswell, seems to be more when the car is warm. does anyone have any idea if this could be the same as when jetjnr had? thinking it sounds the same. also, what is the TPS?
    thanks
