why you wont need a bigger maf until a long way down the track, it isnt a restriction for the power you will hope to have.

check the wiring in the door jam most commonly

buy a v8, forced induction or 4.2 stroker high comp and big cams.

you can go bigger rims to the point of not changing the rolling diameter past stock (legally in most states) i went 15- 18's with the same size rolling diameter.

flush the cooling system replace the thermostat and radiator cap- failing that get a new radiator.

as for advice dont race it like an import and if you want fast expect to pay for it.

I would suggest 17" x 8 " rims. 18" seems to me to be too much of a trade off in terms of ride. It gets too choppy and sharp impact affected.
    17" rims with 235 x 45 rubber works well.

74 mm sensor wont help until everything else in the same air path is increased to match. this means bigger piping, bigger filter, bigger throttle body and bigger plenum apeture. After all this, getting more air into the plenum wont help much, until that air can also get into the engine. Bigger valves / head work / port work / cam lift and duration.

Not all of these things a necessary but you can easily nod in there direction.

MACE 69mm Throttle body. $180 ish
Greenfoam VT Tune $ 80 ish
MACE pod Aircleaner and Cold air Intake - I forget how much
    MACE 1.95:1 Rockers $650ish
MACE plenum spacer Increases plenum volume and reduces heat in plenum, and matching insulator.

Or instead of the MACE rockers you could go with a wade 992a grind cam, with new lifters. That would give you a bit more, at the expense of economy and afractionally coarse idle. Woudl be more expensive though by a bit.

Cooling problems ? Go out and get it hot and make sure the fans are working. If they are, then you need to fluch and clean and check thermostat and water pump.

As for thermostat it doesn't have one
    Don't need one????
Only thermostat does let the water in engine when its hot enough
Greenfoam vt tune what is this ????
Yeh mace are currently out of 69mm throttle body planing to buy one very soon then extractors and exhaust
Also what do you guys think of That commputer chip stage 4 from trx

Thermostats are a good thing. While not strictly necessary, they allow your engine to get up to operating temperature more rapidly, which is good for wear. Colder oil doesnt flow as freely and may degrade faster if not suitable for the lower temps at startup.

If your using factory spec oil (10w30) then use factory cooling - including the standard thermostat.
Greenfoam is a resident lurker on the board here, and his tunes - like delcowizzids - are the b est they are. He talks to you before making the tune to narrow down what you are specifically looking for, and what your car is doing. this make sthe tune he does better than any off the shelf you as it's tailored.

None of them are as good as a dyno tune - assuming the tuner is decent.
