would it look weird at all with vt ss side skirts with front and rear vx ss bars??

No reason why they wouldn't . The VT /VX share the same body.

They aren't exactly the same.
On the VT, the very lower lip that is under the main part of the skirt is textured plastic and not painted in factory trim. On the VX, the same section is smooth and painted.
In saying that, the shape is pretty much identical, the price genuine from Holden is dramatically different. The VT is heaps dearer, the VX is cheap as!.
I put VX skirts on my VT and unless you knew and looked you wouldn't be able to tell. I personally think the smoothed VX is better.
