VT wiper switch from calais into SS

Hi all,

Quick question. Will a wiper switch from a Calais (the switch which has the rotating ball inside the arm) fit into my 1999 series ii ss ?

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking it's the switch which gives you additional functions on how fast/slow you want the wiper blades to go.

It will fit but the variable speed wipers won't work unless you have a High series, LUX level BCM or better.

Now the question is...do I have one of those in my 1999 series II VT SS ?

I really doubt it, but you never now without having a look at it.

Ok so how do I look for it?

do you reckon its possible to re-wire the stalk to work or is it all done in the bcm?

its written on the actual bcm which is located just above your feet in the drivers side foot well, get your head down and have a look up
