hi ive got a problem my airbag light come on today and will not go out any idea where to start looking will look into it in the morning any ideas

Once that light comes, even if you fix the problem, the only way to reset it is with a Tech 2. Best to have it diagnosed to find the fault, it could be anything.

Have you had your car detailed recently? Or has water/drink been spilled on your seat recently? If so the wires might have shorted or whatever and the warning needs to be reset.

Take it to your local Holden dealer and they can reset the warning / tell you exactly what's wrong. They might charge you to reset the warning. I know I got mine done for free because I knew what was wrong and that I shouldn't get charged for a 20 second job

Mines on too, called holden to ask about resetting it with a tech 2, they said just the reset will be $60.

But i understand thats the only way to turn it off. My Mechanic has a generic diagnostic plug in thingo (like tech2 but not holden specific) and it wouldn't work, couldn't link with the car properly for some reason

That's because Holden do everything possible to make you take your car back to them.

accentstencils right unfortunately,all car manufacturers are the same. if something goes wrong they want you to take it to them nowhere else. so they come up with things that are only available to service agents & are the only way to fix your car

Hi everyone Found someone who has a tech 2 to reset my airbag light. he just pluged it in found what it was (high resistence on drivers air bag) than all he did was just reset it. all gone no more lights on dash and no more ding! ding! noise as well. happy chappy now cost $45.00.
