While I don't encourage P and L platers modding thier cars illegally, it brings a smile to my face thinking of cops ripping the heads of a car and measuring the bore size to see if its stroked.

yeah mate while you are on your p's get the supporting mods done that arnt illegal then when you are off them bolt the turbo on. 4.2 nobody would ever know but it wont make a huge amount of power by itself, nor will a cam.

Why bother having a modded motor sitting in the yard for 4 years? Wait 4 years while saving up, by then you could probably pick up a LS3 for the price of a LS1 now, then go for gold.

nah get the stuff done that they cant see now, like building the motor on the inside, then when your off you p's include the forced induction i dont see why if you were ever in an accident the insurance company would even open the motor to have a look, then measure the crank and go nope sorry it a stroker i can see a different throw compared to a standard motor.lol. just have the insurance that if anything did happen you could buy the wreck and keep your motor
