vt calais series 1 series 11

can any body please tell me the difference between a series 1 vt calais and a series 11 thanks

Hey dude

Not much at all only the tail lights, the blinker's are cleare not orange.
and the wheel base is a bit longer on the the series 1 for fuel aconomy

The VTII calais will have a chrome strip across the boot above the number plate, the VTI calais will not.

also the series 2 has a full woodgrain dash (not just around the shifter) and the chrome around the windows is wider. Also the gen3 became available in the series 2. and of course as mentioned above, the chrome strip across the number plate and the clear indicator lenses!

The series 2 has a few different electronic features too like remote deadlock and I think it also can remember where the seat, climate control, mirrors and radio were set for which ever remote your using. Very cool if your missus keeps moving everything everytime she drives it cause it goes back to where you set it when you disarm the car with your remote.

Series II is lighter also, IIRC.
