Hey all
I bought a VX acclaim in october, and the radio control switches don't work.
The radio has been replaced with an after market one, its still a eurovox, but i know this because the handbook has a card from holden with the engine number, radio pin ect, but the pin is different, i managed to find it somewhere else.
My sister has a VX exec, and it has a CD player. Whilst mine has a Casette player. Would this be why the controls don't work?
And id rather not change it to the CD player, cause i play my iphone through the radio. and i don't think the CD player has the audio input.
Thanks
I have the same problem because I put a VT tape deck in so I could use the AUX input! The problem is that the VT tape deck does not have the internals to support the steering wheel controls. The only option would be to fit a VX CD player and get Phreddy from ASR Audio (sponsor of Just Commodores) to fit an AUX input to it.

Sure can, speak to Greg (aka Phreddy). He is based in Sydney, but he might be able to do a "mail in, mail out" for you. Give him a buzz from the contact details on the link below!

I'm in no rush I've got an FM transmitter at the moment. I'll just chuck the head unit in my baggage next time I go to Sydney. Cheers for that.
