    Default ABS Module or BCM?

I've been searching and reading through MANY threads about abs module issues. It seems my car's problem is a faulty ABS module from what I've read.
I'm getting beeping noises, lights on the dash coming up, air con not working when lights are up as well as the temp gauge not working AND the radiator fan running really loudly. All of which, i found out were issues relating to faulty ABS module..

BUT, here is where I would like some help. I personally believe it's a abs module issue, but when my mum took it to her mechanic last week and he hooked it up to some machine or computer, he said the error codes or whatever he was getting were due to the Body Control Module..

Could this still possibly be the BCM? Or is it more than likely just the ABS module? Possibly even both?
Need some help and opinions please, cheers for any help!

PS.. My main source for the linking the problem was this thread - Yes, It was the ABS Module

The easiest way to check if its the ABS module is to have the car running when all the warning lights come on unplug the ABS connector and see if the oil pressure light goes out, if it does the abs module is faulty.

Oh okay, thanks for that. And yeah, the lights came up, I dc'd the ABS module, and 2 lights turned off.. Now to try find a ABS module w/ traction control for my vt.

I got one of those repairs off Ebay for $150, seems to work a treat.

same here. same test and lights stayed on but it was abs module. holden dealer tried telling me i needed to bring it in so they could diagnose it at a cost of $100 and then they could fix it from there!....not likely!

Some of the lights will stay on because the ABS is disconnected but if the oil light goes out it is a faulty module. I got this information from a reliable source but I suppose he could be wrong.
