Air Intake Mods - any ideas?

i have a vx V6 ecotec and it makes the crap whining sucking sound from the intake, does anybody have any low cost sollutions to make it a louder deeper sound (similar to an alloytec)

anyone have ideas?

long term plan is to put a ss inductions growler on it but its gonna be a while before i get the money

throw away the stock intake pipe to start with,the convulated section(ridgy bit of the pipe) holds up airflow into the manifold. replace with a straight through pipe. go down to your local plumbing supplies or bunnings. remove your throttle body & attack it with a dye grinder cleaning up all the dags etc. change your air filter to a performance type such as K & N. if you dont have a hole in the bottom of your airbox make one & add another bit of pipe from the airbox to the front of the headlight. dont bother with a pod filter setup as the only air they get is from the warm engine bay,you want nice cool,fresh air not hot recycled air

i've put a pod inside the standard airbox -conical pod (not tapered) 45 degree pvc bend to point it down into the box ang glued in with polyuethane adhesive/sealant and a rubber seal on the airbox lid.
