VT air bag light

the other day I changed my Ing barrel.( in mine I had to change the hole steer system) plus my blink and flash arm. to fix lights cutting out when you flash lights. changing the above fixed my problems. but now my air bag light and a tone comes on I lined the clock up as stated on clock, but it back together and still warning light and tone still comes on even got another clock still the same. my question is does any one know whats going on, do I have to get the blood suckers to reset my computer!!!!

dunno exactly but you might have to get a dealer to put the tech2 on to reset it. a few vt's i have had the airbag light just stays on,even if i havent touched anything. somewhere i read there is a fault with these,maybe yours finally decided it supposed to be faulty & comes on. other thing is theres a plug under the seat as well,if this plug is loose or has dirty connections etc it has be known to cause the airbag light to come on. will have a look through my techline updates to see if i can find something for you. i never bothered before cause it didnt worry me

This happened to me when i stem cleaned the carpet
I just took to auto elec and they deleted the error the light hasn't been on since

Unplugging the clock spring will trigger the warning light. You will need a Tech2 to reset it.
Whenever working on the electrics, disconnect the battery to avoid this problem.

did all that disconnect the batt first . always trying my best in these things. i'm getting to old and cars are getting to newer. looks like I have to spend more money to fix this problem!!!!!!!!!

I just took to auto elec they deleted error code (air bag light)
It only cost $50 takes them a couple minutes
