Battery light

hi all,
My car has this battery light on and i cant find what the problem is. i have searched the thread but nothing.
anyways.
my car starts fine it drives fine. when i get drive it the baattery light comes on only sometimes then it turns off again. When i am using the electrics in the car like the ac it work then the light comes on. then when i turn the ac off it turns off. then when i am driving it turns on then i chuck it into neutral rev it and it turns off. it is soo anoying. i have a vx s manual aswell.

dying alternator

This same thing happened to me and I just bought new bushes for it and it fixed the problem,

how were the bushes? did they look like they needed replacing? i have the same problem, its at the mechanics now, he says the bushes are fine, the altnernator has tested fine, the power in and out are fine, so its got him stuffed

what he said ^^^^ when i put my foot down, the light went out, take foot off, light re-appears. thought it might be earthing out somewhere but i traced the positive from alternator to battery and all seemed fine.

got me beaten....my batt is running at 14.5, alternator is running at 14.5, both perfect. changed the bushes with a new set....light still appears on the dash.

solution would be great! i read some where it could be a fusible link breakdown?
