Thread: How do I know if Traction Control is on or off?

    Default How do I know if Traction Control is on or off?

    My VX Berlina S1 has Traction Control with the button next to the shifter
    but when press it is there supposed to be a display on the dash saying traction light coming up or something like there is for power?
    If so my cars dash isnt coming up with it
    Im thinkin maybe a globe or somethin has gone in the dash or my cars retarted lol

    There should be a light with TRAC OFF displayed. When you first turn on the igintion, all the warning lights are displayed for a few seconds, check to see if the TRAC OFF light illuminates, bottom left of cluster. If not then probably a blown globe.

    yep tryed that nothing appeared . if its a globe i wont be to worryed

    Then it is most likely a blown globe or a missing globe.

    I had same problem
    All it was for me under the trac control button was wiring a bit loose....
    I just needed to push the plug in

    Just undo the two screws beside ciga light then that cover pops off
    Very easy......
