Hi everyone I have a put a set of used pacemaker extractors on my sons ecotec V6 VT Acclaim today.
My question is are the supercharged and N/A V6 the same exhaust port pattern?
Do they take the same exhuast manifold gaskets?
As I have a leak between the head and the extractor flange on the drivers side and passenger side as well.
I looked at the model number on the extractors and checked the pacemaker catalogue to find that they are for a supercharged commodore, will these be ok on a ecotec V6 non super charged.

No it has not been cutting out.

i have recently been told that the pipe on the supercharged 6 is extended compared to the normal ecotech, so it wont line up, hope that helps.
I thought the L36 and L67 used the same heads except for the placement on the injectors in the L67, so exhaust ports should be the same. BUT on the Pacemaker website they used a different gasket for the PH-5061 headers, so check if you have the 5060 or the 5061 set, both are for the L67, Pacemaker Headers Australia - Quality Performance Exhaust Headers :: Holden Commodore 6cyl VB - VZ , measure primary pipe.
Looking at this thread, Pacemaker headers for vx N/A , it would seem the 5061 bolt up to an L36 no probs.

The main difference is that the ecotec extractors have a bung for the EGR pipe.
Correct, the supercharged extractors do not have an EGR pipe fitting, is it an exhaust leak or is it the EGR pipe making the noise?
Did you bolt them up dry or use a sealant? If no sealant was used, then they will leak.
The other difference is the supercharged extractors have larger primary pipes. The rest of the system lines up without a drama, they are a cut and weld fit anyway so length of primary pipes make no difference.
have you put a ruler against the flange?? if not check if there are any gaps (bent, pitted etc) if pitted or bent get some wet and dry sand paper (grit 1200 if im not mistaken) place on a flat surface and rub the flange till it is strait again(slight gaps in used manifolds and extractors are not un common)
