Default Few problems with my VT.

Well first off there's a leak in my hose going from the radiator to the engine, i got the hose for it, i know how to change it but i don't know how to flush it, and i know there is a tutorial for it but that is just to confusing as i don't know much about cars.

2: When i turned my air con on the other day it was hot, i had it on 17 degrees on full blast for 2 minutes or so and it still stayed hot, i haven't had the car for long so it was the first time i had tryed it.

3: When i drive and i rev and go faster it makes like a hiss noise or something every time i go to a higher speed.

4: When i slow down and go around corners i can hair this ticking kind of noise or something, i think its the fan belt but im not sure exactly.

    Hope someone can help me.

woow...and i thought i had a vt pig to fix up! LOL

lets start with fix number 1....the leak thing... and flush...
    RULE 1
if you have a car you dont know...assume the worse.
( now that means all things being equal...if hose 1 goes ..it wont be long until hose 2 / 3 etc go...so check them all and make sure they are all the same age !
    and condition..

    Rule 13

There is no real way to flsuh a car /heater / rad/ overflow out professionally unless you take to a rad specialist....or do the following..

1---under the rad and take it out....remove the hoses...remove the tank and clean and flush them all out...
never leave a rad stand without water in it...why cause the crystals inside will turn to like cement and block coil passage ways...hence why at a rad place they unsolder them and put rods down them to make sure they are all clear.

2--- you need to blow water through each inlet /outlet...so you flush uphill and downhill....and across...why cause sediments like to sit in the bottom tank of a rad...and its easy to think they are clean when there not..blow water from the closest point to the rad bottom tank...

do this with heater open....why.....because you need to flush out all the crap..in the heater coil..which like a rad again..inside the car

so if you blow out the engine ..cover pipes and blow into 1 at a time
    same deal for rad...
block and cover off 1 pipe or inlet/outle and blow water at good pressure in 1
and keep rotating..doing the engine and pipes and rad and over flow tank..
till no stain in the water.and no bits come out...

Now comes option time.....it be good before you do this ..to add some rad flush agent..and follow its instructions first ....then flush...

Post flushing...............leave the heater on....and fill the car with 1/2 water 1/2 coolant...
    check for leaks
cheack and top up with equal amount of coolant water if needed once to get rid of air bubble...

JOB done....that is the best a home person can hope to achieve without taking the radiaitor

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Ok the air con....

    RULE 10

We dont run air cons that dont work... to proove they dont work ..cause we just do damage and waste fuel and time..

If you air con is working...in 20 secs you should feel it and if you rev it to say 2000 you should get a burst or cold air...in 2-3mins of the car running.

Every week for 30 mins run the air con to keep seals working and to check on a system..
Same deal for hot --heater every week do the same and check water level..

now with the air con...you may have a leak...low on gas...bad compressor--as in stuck valves....or even a faulty switch from hot to cold..that is not turing off the hot while cold is being run it..

so cheak the air cond switches on with bonnet up...and running have someone turn it on and hear the revs rise a little ?
can you see the top of the gas filter and see gas usually coloured ?
is the air con--fan belt llose and making nosie when the air con is on ?

a gas check and regas will be like 60 bucks...have him do it and use dye...and he can do a sniffer test,,,for leaks...
if you got a dead compressor that going to be $350 plus fitting etc

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

the hiss on reving sound can be a number of things...but i beting...its a leak on the exhaust side ...could be mainifold or gasket or flange or part of exhaust sytem..
    it could be o2 sensor..

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

number 4 ...you say it only does it on cornering...so i be looking at the brakes /steering rake/ steering unit..sway bars etc...
check the fluid in the power steering too

    there some starting points..good luck

Just a thought Hissing noise might be the pipe under throttle body dissconnected itself as theres no clamps on it

oh and its not uncommon for hisss noise to come from air cons when they go into switch mode...like on and off...what the hiss is then...is the system equalizing its pressure in the system...
just thought i add that one...
