Wheel Recommendations

Hi Folks,

I'm hoping to purchase a set of aftermarket rims in the near future for my Phantom Black Series II VX SS.

As much as I love the look of the ROH Blackhawk, I'm leaning towards getting a set of 19's due to concerns about the ride quality and tyre wear associated with 20's.

Therefore, can anyone suggest a suitable 19 inch wheel? It would be much appreciated if people could post pics of their own cars with suitable rims or even photoshopped pics of a black VX SS with suggested rims.

I'd prefer something in the traditional 5 spoke design, chrome and slightly blingy - as much as I like HSV and SS style replica rims I'm not too keen on them as I'd prefer something a bit more unique and original.

Thanks heaps in advance for any suggestions.

It's been a while since I've posted.

The car is still running on the stock 17's due to a range of conflicting financial priorities, and also simply because the missus and I are having a hard time agreeing on an ideal set of wheels!!! LOL

I've been looking at other cars to get some ideas etc, and basically we like the following wheels:

- Zenetti Throwback (Unfortunately it only comes in 20 inch)
- XHP Boost (Unfortunately these wheels are no longer made)

The ANZ Velvet could be a goer, but does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Man, I never thought picking rims for a car could so damn difficult!!!

its personal taste mate and budget... the new chrome is black the in thing is deep dish being a black car chrome or black rims would look good and 5 spokes suit the model mines the same model so is the wifes this might help as well

just my 2 cents........ dont put full black mags on a black car it looks to much and crap

Shows how open to interpretation mag choice is. I would say black rims with a polished lip look sexy on a dark, especially black car

this is true, i personally HATE chrome rims, but love black with a polished lip

to me a full on black mag never look any good. but a black mag with a chrome lip does look alot nicer. I do have a machine finished face with the inner black, i like them
