Default 2 beeps then 5 beeps...

I have looked for the answer on this site but can't find it.

My VX Calias beeps 7 times, 2 beeps at a different tone to the next 5 beeps.

Can someone please tell me what this means

    Regards Jeddog

There should be a warning light on the instrument cluster that accompanies the tones and that should indicate the problem.
If you have Holden Assist the tones can also be associated with that, flat battery (for the Holden Assist Module thing) or no signal.

No, no warning light on the dash....Dam thing

I topped up my coolant and the warning seems to have stopped but the coolant level wasn't low though.

The warning tone does seems to come and go

Could that have been the problem?

If the coolant level is too low there should be a warning light but I'm pretty sure there is no tone for that.

Provided the warning globes in dash are all working and there are no burnt out ones!

    I'd go with this one.

that does sound like the same chime that is made when the handbrake is applied when the car is moving. I think there's a minimum speed it chimes in at too, but not sure. It may be a loose handbrake switch causing the problem. If in fact the chime is the HB chime.

Which would also explain why it comes and goes. the light might be burnt out (or removed, if its a problem a previous owner didnt fix?).

I had a problem with my handbrake, basically the light was coming on all the time, all i did was take the handbrake off, saw that the sensor thing was sitting on an angle (no idea how it moved), straightened it up, put the handbrake back in, and no more handbrake light or sound
