The manufacturer's recomendation for ecotec is 91. Actuaaly, i always use 95. Does it have any difference?

Your ecotec needs to be tuned to receive the best performance from a higher octane rating fuel.
But you can be the best judge of that by experimenting.
i got a more k's from bp 98 and ive used it ever since
I've tried E10, 91,95,98 and 100 - a few months on each. The higher octane ratings felt like there was more power but I got less kays per Ltr so ended up going back to the stock 91.
Each engine I've tried over the years gives different results. My old SAAB gained about 30% more power and 200kays extra per tank when I ran 98. Most Fords I had made no difference.
Try each fuel type and also from different servo's if you can, try each one for a month so all the sensors can adjust. You might find a benefit from a particular brand and rating.
local cars are tuned to run on 91 imports are tuned to run on 95 - 98 unless they are made for the OZ market
