hey guys, where would i put a LA CUCARACHA AIR HORN in my vt? i have one coming in the mail and am curious to see where to put it. any ideas?

your only option in the bay is just below the airbox, otherwise try to squeeze it in behind the front bar, problem with that is youll have to face the horns downwards

im still going to keep my original horn hooked up and have this on a different switch(for legalities) but ive always wanted one of these

no i dont think so, but i think i am going to try the first suggestion, under the airbox.

My Dixie horn is mounted beneath the air con condensor, on passenger side, awesome spot and I'm stoked with it. Took hours to run all the correct wiring and relay, etc, but in the end worked well. I bolted the compressor through the wheel arch on passenger side, right where the horns are. Three face forward and two face down. I put in a small sheet of aluminium with rubber glued to one side in order to protect the compressor from exhaust heat. I tried to insert an image of it for you, but Ive already used it as an attachment in the thread named "Dixie car horn" Maybe a search might help you to find it, but it's not a great photo, but you'll get the idea. This was nearly a year ago that I installed it and it's still working great.
