    Default Missing Fuel Cap

    Hi,

Drove off after filling up with the cap still on the boot, hence why its now missing

Is this a problem at all in the short term? (still has the fuel cap cover) and approx how much $$ from holden for a new one?

    Thanks guys

Pinch one off your neighbours car then when he notices it missing tell him you have a spare , sell it back to them for $10 then use the money to buy yourself a new one lol . Seriously , as stated the genuine ones are overpriced , most auto accessory shops sell them pretty cheap

I recommend Buying a aftermarket petrol cap with a key lock
They are around about $25-30 at supercheap auto

having the cap off will suck in humidity and thus have 'amounts' of water deposit in your tank.

Get some glad wrap and a rubber band to cover the mouth in the interim.
