Hey guys.. decided to service my new vx for the 1st time.. changed all the leads, plugs, air & oil filter, engine & maual gearbox oil.. then I thought hey mayswell change the fuel filter thats quick and easy (on my VS's it was) So it had these supposedly 'quick release' clips that are hell to get off & since my new fuel filter came with clips I assumed they would be the same.. they wernt.. and I raped the old clips with a screwdriver to get them off..
So do holden sell these clips? or you have to buy the whole fuel line I bet.. the plugs are fine its just the little clips that are snapped. The other option I was thinkin is to get a couple of double ended nipples & extend the lines a bit then just use normal hose clamps. Im just a bit hesitant to start chopping fuel lines cos they look expensive.. any ideas? Thanks
breaking those clips require new fuel line. better off putting clamps on.
yeah I thought so.. cheers
