changing colour of seat?

iv seen alot of seat paint spray. i have horrible looking seats that are stock. i was just wondering if anyone has ever sprayed there seas a new colour themselves and if so did it work well??

anyone? they have videos on youtube but thy are on leather seats. i was just thinking a black to make it look clean or maybe red
