Vt ls1 big mouth growler-fitting problems

Hey all. Got a an el cheapo deal on bits of a growler big mouth intake system(SS Inductions type) because the bloke didnt know what it was off & neither did i. As luck would have it,it actually fits into my VT LS1,sort of. There are a few problems i have come across & need some answers.
Firstly,MAF meter seems to get in the way of the power steering hoses off the resovoir bottle so i have had to turn the meter around a little so now the plug points up towards the bonnet,is there another way to fix this problem?? Secondly,the intake air temp sensor appears to now have nowhere to go,does this need to be plugged in somewhere or can i leave it unplugged without any problems/damage happening to the engine?? Thirdly what i got didnt come with the OTR intake that usually attaches to the top of the Growler,i had a CAPA version going to the original airbox on the car to begin with but the pipe at the airbox end is massive (80-95mm)compared to the hole in the top of the growler(30-40mm approx),does the factory standard OTR intake have a smaller pipe that would fit into the growler?? I dont want to really cut up the good CAPA OTR or drill holes in the growler as it feels like fairly brittle plastic & i've already put one tiny split in it drilling a hole to attach it to the car. Any suggestions or anyone have the right OTR for this setup lying around unused let me know

The IAT goes into the cavity where the filter sits. It measures the ari that the filter is taking in. As for the stock snorkel, that gets deleted with the big mouth kit and replaced by a much bugger intake duct as well as from below the headlight. You may have a Big mouth kit missing a few bits. Just make sure it's all sealed off from engine bay hot air and it will work fine.

As for the MAF, from memory the kit comes with a new larger intake pipe with a slightly different angle so that might be your issue
