checking tps

hey people, still have my problem with a bit of jerking whan taking off from a stop, and have some more info which may help.

it is usually only occuring for a second or two when i plant my foot from a stop,
usually only happens when engine is at normal temp,
have just replaced fuel filter, and have tried to test tps, which is where im stuck at.

i managed to test the resistance, which seems fine, but actually checking the voltage, i get absolutely nothing, whether the car is off, key on or engine on. ive tried probing all 3 different wires but nothing. is there something im missing? or would it just be buggered?

any help people?

ive also replaced spark plugs and DFI/ coilpacks. havent changed leads yet though
