Default Changing an Auto to Manual Ecotec

    Hit there,
Thinkin of buying a vt s-pack (manual) with a blown motor and a mates low kms stacked vt to change motors over. has anyone done this. does the manual bolt strait up to an auto motor. Is there anythin else i need to do or to look out for.

Have had a quick search but couldn't find the info i needed. Any links would help

it will bolt up but you will have to use the wiring loom from the manual car.

Easy to do,since you have 2 cars to make one out of you will have everything needed to complete the job. Since your putting the engine into a manual car all you have to do is pull the motor out of the auto, unbolt everything including the loom & drop it in. A tip is to pull the whole motor & box out together, then put it in the same way. Remember to plug up the end of your gearbox so oil doesnt run out. Have fun
