Air Con help

hey guys how are you all?


I have a vt commodore 99 brought dec 09.
Air con was warm so brought it back to were i brought it from and they said they fixed it that there was a leak 1 month later same problem again this time some mechanic talk about they were goggles and they can see were the leak is coming from (and they had also ran dye throught the system)

Last week noticed grean fluid sitting around the bottom of the radiator tank not on it right at the bottom were it sits brought it back to them yesterday and they said they fixed it well tonight its still there and i looked at it its very thick like oil but not the smell of coolent could it be the dye they ran throught the air con sytem leaking from somewere??


Any ideas will help

I wont be dropping my car to them again i reackon il go to natrad

the dye is UV reactive. Glows brightly under black/UV light. they were goggles to filter out other reflections from the UV light.

This dye stains like all heck. I recommend taking it to a rhino wash (do it yourself high pressure) and hose the engine bay out real good, especially the pooled liquid.

If it returns, take it to someone else.
