i'm sure it is. i got 20" on my s/c vt n i actually know they're illegal here in VIC. never been pulled over in 2 years though. even had cops pull up next to me for a quick chat n they never said a thing lol

I'd check with your local state authorities, in NSW its the RTA, I'm guessing you would have something similar?

In NSW I can (and do) LEGALLY have 20" rims on my VY, which came out with 15" x 6" Alloys.
In NSW the law states you can change your rim/tyre OVERALL DIAMETER by upto 15mm (+/-) of the largest rim/tyre size on the tyre placard.

So, you never know, check out the place that makes the law for your state, to get the legal requirements.
