    Arrow Alloytec V6 into a VT

    HI all, i,m considering changing my acotec v6 with an alloytec v6 from a latter motor commodore, what Im trying to find out is what is required to get it all working, any help would be appriciated.

    Don't bother buddy. The Ecotec is still a better platform for mods so i don't think its worth the $$$ and hassle. Better off chucking a LS1 in there.

    I heard the SIDI are rubbish, sure has more KW but less torque, well thats what i heard, anyone able to give some light

    dont bother man alloytec isnt that great and with any exhuast they sound like a wet fart, better off with the good old ecotec

    Ecotec 147kw, 304nm@3600rpm
    Alloytec 175kw, 320nm@2800rpm
    Alloytec 190kw, 340nm@3200rpm
    SIDI 210kw....., 350nm@2900rpm

    apparently SIDI respond really well to minor mods.
