Vx fault help !!

Hey i have a 2002 vx commodore 190 k's on it. It was working fine yesterday me and my mates took it out last night worked fine except this morning i tried to start it and it just winds over sumtimes it starts then in under a second it will cut out. Already checked the battery and fuses, the only thing is im using the spare key cause my mates borrowing it later in the week and has my usual could that effect anything? and also when i open the door sumtimes the hazard lights cum on for around 10 seconds and turn off, what does that mean? any help would be great cheers

the hazard lights sumtimes came on when the car worked to as well

Is the security light flashing when you are trying to start it, if so the immobiliser is not turning off.

Sounds like you have a problem with your imobilleser, Mate went swimming with his car keys and it wouldnt start just keep turning over and over we tried like 200 times and i cant quite remember what it was that got it going but definatly get your old key back and give that a go. Also your battery may be going flat in the remote
