Aunger CAI HELP!!!

hey, got myself an aunger CAI, and like previous posts have said, it does not fit 100%. firstly, i cut the stuff from the top of the radiator off, but the snorkel seems to hit the brace for the fans. not sure if i should cut it off or not.

next prob, i think its sitting too high because when the bonnet closes now, it wont open unless there are 2 people to push the bonnet down and to pull the latch.

any help would be great.

spin the rubber stoppers on your bonnet to make them smaller and that should help with it fitting

yea ive tried that, tried making them smaller, bigger, adjusting the bonnet latch. i seriously think its the CAI that is proping it up too much

I tried an aunger one once... it was such a terrible fit I didn't even bother trying to cut stuff. I removed all the plastic shrouds over the radiator, it was bare metal.. and it STILL didn't fit under the bonnet.

Ended up sending it back for a refund with photos for evidence.

hey no need to worry guys, i have just adjusted the bonnet latch to 52mm, it was like at 40 or something. still doesnt fit with the fan brace bit or at the box, so i just got some cloth tape and taped around it from the inside of the box so it looks all clean. i think the aunger ones look alot better than ss inductions. thanks for your posts

hay mate i have one of these and i had to cut off the plastic above my radiator still not a perfect fit but is on lol
