Alarm goes off when the climate changes

Does any one have any Idea why the car alarm on my Calais goes off when the climate temperature changes I have had it locked and it has been fine then all of a sudden it goes off it is locked away and I am right there when it happens, I have checked the doors and nothing is sticking also the boot and fuses Help.

mates VN used to it when it got hot, is this hot to cold and cold to hot aswell?

It Appears to be hot to cold how did your mate fix it

check if your glovebox is warpping in the heat and turnning on the glovebox light setting off the alarm in the process .

also common in vy's is a aluminum sticker thats underneath the clock spring on steering whee, so pop the horn pad off and have a looksee, they eventually ppeel up and connect short circuit

Dose locking the car with the key arm the alarm I havent been locking it im afraid ill be getting up to it in the middle of the night

My mate put up with it, his was aftermarket yours sounds like the factory one as said above the sticker is most likely the culprite. and yes locking it via keyless remote arms it.
