    Default Reverse into drive. Is this a problem??

    hey just wondering if this is an actual problem or not, when i put in reverse and then into drive, there is that second gap before it locks in. its really annoying cause i cant put my foot down as soon as i put it into drive. i did that once and the engine light came on and it didnt accelerate properly. is it a problem? or is that just auto's.
