Hi, I can remember nearly 10 years ago a news article talking about a design fault with the VT Commodore. The central locking would automatically unlock when the car got really hot sitting in the Sun. Well, I had a VT and it did exactly that, days over 35 degrees I would come back to it and find it unlocked.
Now I've upgraded to a 2002 Monaro and I've found the same thing has happened on a couple of occasions.
Is there a fix for this problem at all? I don't want my car unlocking itself whenever it feels like it...
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
how hot does it get where you live!? havent copped a day over 35 degrees in ages
Perth WA... it gets even hotter in the car
No-one else even heard of this?
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
the degree here in saudi arabia is over than 50 and my vt do not do that
