VXII aircon bulb replacement = how hard?

Did a search for this but cant seem to get the answer.

Just wondering how hard is it to replace the bulbs behind the aircon controls?
Ours are blown and in other cars i've had its not been too hard to pop this area open and/or unscrew the dash and just replace the bulbs but this is actually my husbands car and newer then the older cars I've had and really, I don't know much about the dash area at all.

If it's really fiddly I'll just pay somebody to do it but I would hate to pay $100 (somebody quoted about that) for somebody to replace a few bulbs if I can do it myself.

What do you think? Would appreciate any input.

far out i was about to write out the whole thing. was gonna take ages but then i found this. this is a pretty good step-by-step method of doing it. but i must warn you, it is very fiddly. i've done it a hundred times now so it's nothing to me. but when you first do it, it's a pain in the a** mainly coz you're so scared of breaking stuff. good luck
