ABS Module rebuild??? VT SS LS1 Gen 3 series 2

Hi Guys,

Had my old girl since 2001 and she has been sitting around for months because of no funds to fix. Took her down to Ultratune and got the codes read.....it had that many they didnt charge me and said if i take it around to Holden it will be about $4k to fix. He did say the ABS module needs replacing, I kept driving her to work and one day i went to go out and the Auto went.....well I can get park reverse and then first second then it goes really low down into the box(like chirping burnout material low LOL) So thinking it was the AutoI have just replaced both selonoids in the auto and serviced it. Still problems. Now I am thinking it is the ABS and auto is in Limp Mode perhaps? Does anyone know where I can get my ABS Module reconned in Brisbane. The lights coming up on dash are ABS, Airbag and oil pressure. Anyone had same issue?

thanx accentstencil I got this recond also put on new water pump, all lights have gone out except for power train and still stuck in third gear. Thinking i dont need to pay to get comp reset as other codes have gone?? any ideas anyone what it could still be? have also done both solenoids in box and serviced

Iam trying to get diagnostic codes by using paper clip and bridging 5th and 6th pin with ignition on but its not working?????? do the codes just flash up or are there beeps as well? Auto tran guy is trying to tell me its 3rd gear clutch packs and $2 grand to fix

You can't use a paper clip to get codes from an LSx/Gen III engine. You need to have a code reader - Tech2 or equivalent.
