im new to the car scene, so bare with me.
long story short, wasnt paying attention and ran up a curb, came back
when i got home the fans behind the radiator kicked in, quite loud too its never done it before either...
dad says its normal their turning on, but i tell him.. they never done it before so loud anyway iv never noticed it... i also have a vicious vibration throughout the car.. when accelrating... when i take foot off it stops then gently accelerate again the vibe stops.. then once i reach say.. 100 it vibrates again ease off it stops.. i dont get it, and.. on the way home tonight i found a real lack of power come through... randomly when i got home i popped the hood and gave her some revs, the motor was very quiet. and made a sounded like it was winding up or something... help out if you can thanks alot..
You might have broken an engine mount from the shock when you ran up the gutter which could account for the vibration.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
How can i check this? and how easy or costly is it to fix? and the vibration also happend before the incident, but yeh i think i mentioned it only did it at 60kmh now it does it like all the time.. oh and, so you dont know why the fans are going spastic either? or lack of power issue?
The best way to check the engine mounts is to get under the car and have a good look at them and see if the rubber is cracked or perished, use a big lever near each mount to take some weight off and that will give you a better idea of their condition. Also, see if the sump is hitting anything.
Don't have any answers for the other problems.

i used to have this same vibration back in the day when i owned a VN turned out it was a broken gear box mount, could that be it?
i have no idea lufkin, ill check all of this out, and locksmiff, i didnt hit the curb at 60, I was saying the vibration only used to happen at 60kmh then stop when i eased off and went back on the accelerator, now its doing throughout the speeds.
also check the wheels...bearings/ball joints/studs and nuts..rims and tyres for balance...
also check sway bar links and rubbers..
shockies and springs..
i agree also look at those mounts
when you drive slow on a flat road ......do you feel one wheel or more are egg like...
as in there high and low......
you be at ilde...in low ....just moving....
turn the radio and stuff off...have all the windows down and lissen best time is late at night..when the world is more quiet....
and lisen and feel the steering wheel....
and when you tap the throttle....what do you feel..does it feel hesitating with like a slight clunk...
a shifting or movement ....
try the sound test...people laugh...but it finds allot of noise you may or may not know about...
in your car...

if its vibrating and youve lost power then one of the cylinders is probably not firing. test each of your spark plugs by starting the engine then pulling out one of the leads, the engine idle should change(thats what your looking for), go through each one(pluging each one back in after testing) and if the engine idle stays the same after pulling one out then you need a new lead or spark plug. sometimes it pays to wear a glove or use a rag to pull the leads out to avoid electric shock or just make sure your hands are dry, this might help for one of your problems
