    Default my vt has problems

    hey all i just replaced the motor in my vt berlina and it runs fine just it has a few issues that i have noticed over the past few days
    1. the fans dont come on at all and ive checked all the connectors and it dosnt work
    2. the central locking stays on when i turn it off was working the other day
    3. the electric windows dont go up and down really annoying as i like the window down

    any help will be appreciated

    is there a difference between a bcm out a berlina to one out a acclaim as i have one spare

    Yes there is a difference but I'm pretty sure it will fit and you will be able to add a few extra options if you want. When you swap a BCM it then needs to be linked to the ECU with a Tech 2 or you will not be able to start the engine.

    If you also have the ECU from the Berlina then you can probably use that without having to get them linked. You will also need the key head that goes with the BCM.

    oh so i need everything out of the acclaim and put it in the berlina as i bought a vt acclaim from the auctions for my berlina

    You could just use the BCM and get it linked to the ECU in the Acclaim or you could swap the ECU and BCM from the Berlina into the Acclaim, providing both the cars have the same size engine, I think.
