VT auto shifter removal

i need to remove my shifter handle to replace the globes on the trac control & power buttons, but cant seem to get it off. removed the small screw at the front ,but it wont budge. anyone know?

There's more to do than just remove the screw. Type in "gear shifter removal" in the search panel above and you'll find out how to do it.
