    Lol at rocket
Mate just keep a rag under the covers so you dont spill any oil onto the extractors. It's a Pretty easy job..... Whilst i had mine off i painted mine. Was well worth it.

My Gregory's says to use Vaseline on the gasket to hold it in while you put the cover back on, otherwise it will just fall out when you turn cover right way up. I find it much easier.

Have a look at it and move anything that is in the way,
But if you dont know what your doing it might be better for you to get someone else to do it.

Alternator, no.. TB. definitely. You've got buckleys chance of getting that sucker out without removing the throttle body.

The vaseline is a great idea, wish I thought of it back when I did mine. It's a pretty easy job, but that little trick with the vaseline (or gasket goo) would totally make it easier.
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere

Just undo the 10mm on the Alternator Bracket, the bottom 13mm bolt of the alternator, and loosen the top bolt so you can swing it up a fraction. Makes it a shitload easier than struggling to get it past.

Should only need the vas to hold it in place. Dont need any further sealant.

I removed my covers without removing the Throttle Body, just take off the intake pipe off course. And move the spark leads aside.
