how do i keep side skirts looking nice ?

my vx has the black side skirts ,i have tried 'armor all' and 'tyre black ' but they don't last long,any ideas? thanks

could always try silicon spray (AKA Tyre Shine) That stuff works wonders on tyres, should do same for your skirts.

I use Super Cheap wet look tyre spray in the blue tin on my VX. Easy to apply and stays on pretty well and it's cheap. Give it two coats to start and wipe over with a cloth after 5 minutes

The best thing I have found for anything plastic and rubber is Autoglym plastic and rubber care, I think that is what it's called. Can be used on inside and outside or cars on anything plastic or rubber, not too shiny just spray it on and wipe off. Bit expensive but it's worth it.

I give them a good wash with the rest of the car (different sponge obviously), then Armour All. I just do it weekly when I clean the car, keeps them looking good. Worked for the last 12 years anyway, and the body is in great nick.
