Sure Ultra lows look good, but they aren't good for a street car (that isn't a show car).

low //super low and ultra low means heavy duty wear on the tyres.....and you get extra traction and steering...
but you pay for it ...

mags and low springs etc...also means bumpy rides...that your gonna feel...

less than 2 inch of air between you and road...in 40 profile to 50
and ultra low means no 3inch of spring
or 2 or 1 ich for others..

think about it.......ride comfort for sports handling
you have a car that is ment to be a gt grand tourer...

    air con issue....
when did you last get serviced or used it...?
    1) use the air con every day for 20mins or more if you can to kleep the seals wet and lubed...
and to keep an eye on leaks...
    2) look under the bonnet when you engage air con..here the revs rise?
    3) do you see the rec dryer under the air filter intake near the front slam panel...do you see gas in it...?

did you check fuse box and relay....is the fan belt slipping....is the air con compressor engaging or sound like the clutch dont move or slips....

often at year 10 or 12 ....a cars compressor gets to needing a rebuild stage... and this costs like $350 exchange
and new rec dryer every 2-5 years that is another $25
and top up every 2 years is $60

always ask for dye to be added

if your car did an otherheat did you know the air con will discharge the gas if it gets hot...

these are all your starting points.....and yes cables to and from the compressor leak and crack after 10 years too
and seals in there connection leak after 6-10 years as well

aair con is a serviceable item that needs care...air cons in lowered cars dont like hard bashing and thumping on the road..
it causes cables or welds or solder points to break...
so rads and coolers for trannys etc dont like lowered either..

But lowered looks nice ..and slick...but it means more expense to keep it up...

i,ve got ultra lows in my vt calais- ride is fine. just make sure you fit short rear shocks & short front struts. i,ve also removed the bottom bump stop in the rear and modified front bumpstops . wheels are 16 inch WL statesmans with 225/55/16. just came back from a 1000km holiday with 2 adults, a 14year old and 9 year old with no complaints.
