My New VT S-pack i got my grubby hands on thursday, already i've put a monaro frount bar on it, XHP jet 18inch rims. other then that its been kept immaculant by its previous owner. its got a getrag 5speed behind the solid lil ecotec motor =)
speaking of the motor i've put a cold air intake and k&n filter in it, just to help it breathe
on my list of things to do, a full exhaust system is ontop, as well as a 30% window tint, lower about a inch all around, camber kit for the rear end ... but for now its my lil peace of heaven =)

i recon it look good with a set of honey comb rear window lourves....dark black
and i recon the rear side quarter glass should be tinted with dark ...
and same for rear main door windows...

sounds good. but i agree with not doing the twin throttle. there's no point if your engine can only suck in a certain amount of air according to how big the (can't remember the name now) opening on the intake to the engine, attached to the back of the throttle is. you can have 10 throttles and your engine will still only suck in what the engine piping diameter can fit. sorry for the non-technological terminology lol. it's still early

got a price for a full custom made exhaust system $1100 ..... getting done at the muffler man in tamworth. i've seen this guys work and he does awsome jobs =)
also i've decided to not go with the twin throttle bodies but put a gator 70mm trottle body, just to open it up more.
pics will be put up this week hopefully of the new tint =) and interior ( doing a lil home job on the interior .... but thats secret hehe )
well everything is gonna have to be put on hold .... the clutch is on its way out and from quotes im not liking what i hear .... need a new fly wheel and clutch = at the least $1600 .... and thats if i do it myself ! so thinking should i pay more and get a heavier clutch so this dosn't repeat ....
well i got a better deal on the clutch $960 for a rigid flywheel and heavier clutch =) putting it all in tomorrow after work. wired up neons under the seats and came up alright ( sorry for the poor pics )

well replacing the duelmass flywheel with the ridgid flywheel has made a world of diffrence, the clutch is alot more aggressive ( which is great ) ... makes a little more noise then the duel mass bet meh ... its sounds mean when you get under it hehe. but the main advantage with all of this. if my clutch decides to throw it in again. i can machine the flywheel =) ( duel mass flywheels can not be machined and if your clutch throws it in .. you gotta replace it too = $1600 at the least ) so im on happy street now =)
took 4 hours to remove the gearbox, take the clutch and flywheel off. prep the new items to go in, install them and refit the gearbox and fit everything... leaving work at 10pm have it a squirt, not only did it rev..it actually spun ! whooooo no slip now hehe
but now came across another problem =( clutch master cylinder is leaking ... best price so far is $155 so i'll deafinatly take that ... best by about $100 =)
well havn't been on here in a while ... put 5,000 km's on the commy since i got it. did its 110,000km service today and running like a dream, cars booked in to have windows tinted not next friday but the friday after. then getting a full exhaust system ( pacey extractors, normal cat then 2 and a half inch single system with 1 muffler ) should sound good and be ready for motorkhana in armidale, go have a bit of fun on the skid pan day =)
just wondering how kum ur not getting hi flow cats or cat
what would be the advantage? its still got the orginal cat so wouldn't it be pretty well burnt out ?
From my understanding the stock cat flows pretty well so no real point in replacing them unless they are damaged.

I have also heard that the stock cats are pretty good on the vt, only what ive heard though.
Will look the goods with tint and some superlows.
