vx reving help help?????????????

hi all
my problem is i have a 01 vx auto
and wen its in last gear cruseing the revs will go up and down up and down and keep doing till u back off or give it more the auto changes find and all that ad only dose it in last gear

Could it be a throttle position sensor fault? Just guessing here. Anyone else?

Yeah could be that, or maybe your trans is due for a service

throttle position sensor or something similar, i had the same problem with my old nl fairlane at around 90 or 100 it would rev on its own up about 500revs i think or maybe a grand, even when the cruise control was on
