Sorry i couldn't find a thread specific to these problems so i'll just start a new one. The problems are;
Wiper will not reset to starting position on first setting (stopping half way up the bloody window), and the indicator will flash too quickly when indicating to turn right. Any ideas?

The indicator flashing too quickly usually means that one of the bulbs on that side is blown. As for the wipers do they go back to home position normally if you use any other setting?

I had to change the flasher relay on my old mans vx last week, indicators were running really inconsistent... slow as one day then turbo the next.
this was about 3 months after it caught fire while I was driving it! the wires overheated and started shitting smoke out, i thought the damn airbag was gonna shoot into my face!
Yeah but i have to wack it onto the last setting and then immediately back as soon as they get to the bottom. I've heard that replacing the wiper stalk may fix the issue but i'd rather be certain before buying one.
How much did the relay cost out of curiosity? And you can pick them up from someone like repco can't you?

Okay no luck yet on the wiper stalk. But i now have no indicators at all. All fuses good, replaced the flasher relay, nothing. Anyone got any ideas before i throw perfectly good money at an auto elec?
