VU SS Dash upgrade

Hey Guys i have run into a lil delema, i have a VU SS s2 it has the option 2 dash stock and i wanted to upgrade it to the option 3. i bought one out of a option 3 wagon v6 and the fuel guage doesnt work properly the tacho doesnt regester properly. now is there a way to reset the dash to the ute configuration or do i have to try and find a option 3 dash out of a VU maloo?

I'm guessing the Wagon you got the level 3 dash from was a V6? V6 and V8 cars have differently calibrated tachos. Also the windows on either side probably won't work properly unless you upgrade your BCM first.

hey VP_TTcalais i did the same with my vt ls1 exec a few weeks ago... i got a guy to come out with tech2(other brand but did the same) and change everything over to suit the ls1... throw me a PM and i will send u the spreadsheet on whats gotta be done, i printed this off for the guy that did mine so he knew what exactly had to be done... saved me buyin another cluster...

I got a vt ss aswell, so if i want to upgrade to level 3 all i gotta do is take old one out and put new v8 one in? no need to do anything with the computer?

you'll need to take the cluster to someone who has a tech 2 and get it reprogrammed to your car.
