airbag dash light and beep

Hi.When starting my VTII V6 acclaim the airbag warning lamp and an audible alarm come on momentarily.What can this be?(apart from possibly expensive!)

srs airbag fault, get it checked at your local mech or dealer as your airbag may or may not fire in an accident

ye i had the same...do what ashbox said. first time i got it done by ultra tune for free. second time round when it came back again ultra tune said they couldn't do it but said it would cost like $70 or something like that..can't remember. but then a few days later...it just stopped flashing and beeping LOL...i won't complain lol

Yes my local Holden Dealer service shop said they had to put a Tech 2 on it to see what was wrong.They quoted about $80 just to run the diagnosis.
